Relationships can go through difficult periods, and you don’t have to navigate those challenges alone. Couples counselling provides a supportive space to understand what’s happening, communicate more openly, and work towards meaningful change together.
You don’t need to wait until things reach breaking point to seek support.
Conversations quickly turn into arguments, misunderstandings or silence, making it difficult to feel heard and understood.
You may be working through betrayal, infidelity or other experiences that have affected trust and connection.
Major transitions such as having a baby, moving in together, marriage, separation, or blending families can place new pressures on a relationship.
You find yourselves having the same arguments repeatedly without reaching a resolution or feeling that anything changes.
You may still care deeply about each other but feel distant, unheard or unsure how to reconnect.
Counselling can provide a space to explore your relationship and understand what you both want, including when you're considering separation.
Every relationship is different, which is why counselling isn’t about following a one-size-fits-all formula.
Our approach provides a safe and respectful environment where both partners can feel heard and understood. Together, we can explore patterns within the relationship, improve communication, work through conflict and identify practical ways to strengthen your connection.
The focus is on creating meaningful change while recognising the experiences, needs and goals of both people in the relationship.
Create space for both partners to express themselves and listen with greater understanding.
Explore recurring patterns and the dynamics that can contribute to conflict or disconnection.
Develop practical strategies to strengthen trust, communication and emotional connection.
STEP 01
Start with a brief phone conversation to discuss what brings you to counselling, answer any initial questions and determine whether the service is right for you.
STEP 02
Your first session provides an opportunity to talk about your relationship, understand what you're hoping to achieve and begin identifying areas you'd like to work on.
STEP 03
Future sessions are shaped around your needs and goals, with practical strategies and ongoing support to help create lasting change.
